Study: Feasibility, Acceptability and Efficacy of standalone DBT Skill Online Group interventions for (FADS-OG) individuals with borderline traits in the Indian context

What is this study about?

This study assesses the feasibility of conducting a structured Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills online training program for individuals with emotionally unstable personality disorder, borderline features, borderline personality disorder or cluster B traits. The feasibility of the program will be studied by the rate of completion of study and through feedback from participant. This study also evaluates how this treatment influences suicidality, self-harm, emotion dysregulation, coping and other borderline personality features.

 

Who can participate?

People who are between 18 – 45 years of age, who currently meet the criteria for emotionally unstable personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, borderline personality features or cluster B traits can be a part of the study. A potential participant should be living in India and have access to internet. 

Individuals who are currently undergoing in-patient treatment or has had in patient stay in the last 4 weeks will not be eligible for this study. Participants with co cooccurring bipolar disorder or psychotic disorders also cannot participate in this study.
